Partnership in Burundi after December visit
A visit to Burundi by Jerry Marshall, speaking and training trainers, has led to a new TEN Partnership
In December 2023, Jerry Marshall was in Burundi as a guest of Ezechiel Hatungimana of U-invest.
He was invited to speak at a major national event, "Come and meet Your Business Partner", which links investors with aspiring entrepreneurs. Jerry also trained volunteers to teach business start up skills using the Mind Your Own Business workbook, which as a result is now available in French and Kirundi. In Gitega, he trained 82 church leaders (see blog here), and back in Bujumbura, he trained another groups in conducting business health checks.
Jerry was able to see some of the work of the charity, Yada, set up by Ezechiel and his British wife, Nicola, and meet one of the Batwa ladies who has set up a business as a result of "Mind Your Own Business" training (see picture).
