Josh Cutting, who works with Roy Crowne leading Gospel Entrepreneurs, was interviewed by Jerry for our June Gathering.

Josh has always carried an entrepreneurial spirit, starting businesses and kingdom initiatives with a particular focus on the emerging generations. His passion is to see a generation step into the fullness of their missional calling - whether in business, social justice, or the church. Previously, Josh served as leader of The Send UK & Ireland, and also pioneered a project in Sheffield helping unemployed young adults back into work, seeing over 100 step into full-time employment.

Josh explained that the mission of Gospel Entrepreneurs (GE) was to reclaim the legacy of "kingdom entrepreneurs" (e.g., Cadbury, Wilberforce) by integrating revival and reformation. The founder, Roy Crowne, is transitioning leadership to Josh over the next six months.

Gospel Entrepreneurs activities include: 

  • Regional Gatherings, to connect entrepreneurs for networking, prayer, and collaboration.
  • Mentorship, providing support, especially for the 18–30 age group. 
  • The Spotfires programme, a gathering around prayer, evangelism and community
  • Mini Homes Project, building social housing for care leavers. 

The aim is to provide a framework, a "skeleton" for movement and agility, not "scaffolding" for rigid structure. This encourages safe risk-taking and celebrates failure as a learning opportunity.
